This roster of extraordinary performers, many of whom have appeared at NJPAC in the past, will include: Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, NJPAC’s longtime Resident Dance Company; a joint performance by 14-time GRAMMY Award-winning jazz master Paquito D’Rivera along with salsa and Latin pop legend India; beloved Great American Songbook ambassador Michael Feinstein with GRAMMY winner Lisa Fischer, the Rolling Stones vocalist who The New York Times says “brought down the house” during her recent Birdland engagement; Tony Award-winning tap master and choreographer Savion Glover, NJPAC’s Dance Advisor; Tony Award-winning Aladdin star James Monroe Iglehart, currently back on Broadway in Hamilton; GRAMMY-nominated jazz singer Cécile McLorin Salvant, winner of the 2010 Thelonious Monk International Jazz Competition; five-time GRAMMY Award-winning bassist and composer Christian McBride, NJPAC’s Jazz Advisor, and his Big Band; and the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, the Arts Center’s Resident Orchestra, led by Music Director Xian Zhang.
